My name is Andrea Gilbert, and this is my Pure Romance Story.  

Probably like some of you reading this, I always knew that I wanted to work for myself, but I never knew exactly what I wanted to do.  So, after high school, I followed my parent’s wishes and went to college to be a teacher.  But a year out from graduating; I decided teaching wasn’t for me.  Instead, I took a chance with the business program and ultimately graduated a Bachelors in Business Administration and found a job in marketing that I loved.  Fast forward a few years and by the time, I was 26, I found myself as a single mother, having to move back home just to make ends meet.  Even though I loved my job, I didn’t love living paycheck-to-paycheck and hated the fact that my daughter was in daycare. Driving home from work one day, I heard a commercial on the radio that literally changed my life.  As soon as I got home, I went online, did some research, and was instantly impressed with Pure Romance.  Not only were they a classy company, but I feel in love with their mission to Empower, Educate and Entertain women. I was ready to sign up right away.  But, in the past I had tried to sell Tupperware, Mary Kay, Lia Sophia and Partylite.  A lot of money that I didn’t have to begin with was spent and little money was gained.  So I decided to host a Pure Romance party first to check it out. We laughed so hard and it was more fun than this single mom had in a very long time. It made me forget “my situation” for a little while and I thought, I could actually do this!  So, that night over 14 years ago I signed up. Just two short years into my business, Pure Romance replaced my income (I actually made more money working 8 to 10 parties a month than 40 hours a week) and I was able to quit that job, be the mom I wanted to be and start living my dreams.  

I have personally sold over 7-figures and I have found out my true passion is teaching and my personal mission is to help women become the best versions of themselves.   And by the way…. yes, I do all of this still working part-time hours, living life by my design.

I am beyond grateful that Pure Romance found me that one-day while I was driving home from my job.  Pure Romance has truly changed my life!  Sure, I’ve been on extravagant trips with Pure Romance (Italy, Hawaii, Australia, and St. Maarten to name a few).  Today I’m happily married to the man of my dreams. He is my rock and my biggest fan.  Together we have three wonderful children and two fur-babies.  With Pure Romance, not only do I get to experience a better quality of life for my family, and myself but I also get to save marriages, make women rich and enrich couples’ lives.
